With 20+ years’ experience in practice ownership, Mary Shipp, DDS helps dental business leaders implement proven systems and strategies which foster culture while boosting production and profitability.

Working with dental professionals at any stage of career development, Mary is especially passionate about helping new dental office owners. Her speaking and coaching programs help dental professionals in their roles as dentist, owner, employer, and manager of a team, all while maintaining a balance with their personal life.

Drawing from her personal experience of owning, managing, and practicing in a dental business while pursuing other interests and family life, Mary guides her colleagues in finding success in their personal life and in their business endeavors.

Mary is proud to be a Human Resource Consultant with Bent Ericksen. She is also a Certified American Heart Association CPR instructor (BLS and Heartsaver) as well as a Keto Lifestyle Coach.

Mary is an active member of the American Dental Association, Minnesota Dental Association, and St. Paul District Dental Society. In 2002, she was awarded the New Dentist of the Year and featured in the Minnesota Dental Association’s journal. As a member of the Minnesota Dental Association Peer Review Committee for nearly two decades, Mary serves as a mediator between patients and doctors. She is pleased to be a member of Dental Entrepreneur Women (DeW), Dental Speaker Institute, and Dental Speakers Bureau.

Mary holds a Bachelor of Science in Business from the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management and is a graduate of the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. There she was recognized with the New Dentist Oral Medicine and Diagnosis Award.
